Lamb burgers with feta cheese and mint

Lamb burgers with feta cheese
Lamb burgers with feta cheese and mint, Nowadays lots of supermoms make their kids home made burgers instead of eating unhealthy burgers at fast food chains. And it’s a great thing to do, thumbs up to these supermoms! It’s not just the kids who love burgers, for we as adults also yearn for a delicious burger every once in a while. And since it’s home made, you can control how healthy the burger is (perhaps minus the fries?).
Here’s a super simple recipe to make home made burgers. The preparation will take you about 15 minutes whilst the grilling of the meat will take another 14 minutes. In just a half hour, you will have four good servings of a yummy burger set on the table or packed into lunchboxes with love!

Lamb Burgers Ingredients

  1. 1.5 pounds ground lamb or ground beef
  2. 4 lettuce leaves
  3. 4 kaiser rolls, split and toasted
  4. 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese with peppercorns (2 ounces)
  5. 4 tomato slices
  6. 1 tablespoon snipped fresh mint

Lamb Burgers Preparation

  1. Shape the ground lamb or beef into four 3/4 inch thick patties. Place the patties on a greased rack of an uncovered grill directly over medium heat.
  2. Grill for 14 to 18 minutes, or until done (70 degrees Celcius), turning once.
  3. Meanwhile, place the lettuce leaves on the bottom of the rolls. When the patties are done, place them on top of the lettuce.
  4. Add feta cheese, tomato slices and mint.
  5. Top the burgers with the top of the kaiser rolls.
