Cheese Onion Pizza Ingredients
- 4 ½ cups all purpose flour
- ⅔ cup grated parmesan
- ⅔ cup finely chopped onion
- 1 egg
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 teaspoons light brown sugar
- 2 packages dried yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
Onion Cheese Pizza Preparation
- Dissolve the yeast in the water and stir in the sugar. Let this stand for 4 minutes.
- Sift all but ½ cup of the flour into a bowl with the salt. Add the onions, cheese, 3 tablespoons of the oil, the yeast mix, and the egg and mix gently with your hands.
- Knead on a floured surface for 8 to 10 minutes then place dough in a greased bowl. Brush oil over the top of the dough and cover with a kitchen towel.
- Put it somewhere warm for 90 minutes.
- Add toppings and bake at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.
