
Vegetarian Pizza Recipe is a healthy meal that is low calorie and tastes
absolutely great.
Vegetarian Pizza Ingredients
- 2 ¼ cups of flour
- 1 teaspoon yeast
- 5 oz warm water
- ½ tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 4 tablespoons tapenade (can substitute with any tomato pizza base)
- 6-8 roma tomatos
- 3 cups mixed cheeses – mozzarella, sharp cheddar, fontina
- 2 teaspoons of dried oregano
Vegetarian Pizza Preparation
- Take a large bowl
- Add flour, oil, about half of the water, and yeast
- Mix with hands until all ingredients have combined
- Add water as required
- Mix and knead until a soft dough is formed (see video for how it should look)
- Cover with a towel and leave for ~30 mins at room temperature to allow the yeast to activate
- Preheat oven to 400°F
- Spray a pizza baking tray with olive oil
- Stretch and flatten the dough to form a circle and place into the pan (see video)
- Spread tapenade over the entire pizza base
- Slice tomatos and spread over the pizza
- Sprinkle cheese mix over the pizza
- Sprinkle oregano over the pizza
- Place into oven for 12-15 mins
Cook until the crust has risen up, the tomatos have cooked through, and
the base of the pizza has developed color.

You can also add vegetables and nuts in your non-veggie pizzas, such as sun dried tomatoes, olives, salami, asparagus, mushrooms and so on.
Feta cheese is another good ingredient which is popularly used in most of the
non-veggie pizzas.
