Party Sausage
This sausage party recipe is simple to make because you just slice the ingredients and make them up. The simple combination of bread, salami, cucumber, and mustard gives a continental feel to your party appetizer recipes and serving party sausages is more interesting than serving plain bread and butter.

Party Sausage Slices

You can alter the following sausage party slices in any way you want. Maybe you want to use tomato slices instead of the cucumber slices or salsa instead of the mustard. If you are looking for really easy party appetizers, these are ideal. French bread is the best bread to use because you can get lots of slices out of one stick. If you are using another kind of bread to make this sausage party appetizer you might want to toast it slightly and cut the slices into quarters. Appetizers should be small, not whole slices of bread unless you are using a long, thin bread like a baguette.
Slice the meat and cucumber on the diagonal because it looks more elegant. These are make ahead appetizers and you can keep them in the refrigerator, covered in plastic wrap, for several hours before the party begins if you want to.

Party Sausage Recipe
These sausage party slices are simplicity itself. They take mere minutes to put together and this cold appetizer recipe is perfect at any buffet. Do not add too much mustard if you are using a strong variety of mustard. Your guests will not know it is there until they take a bite and not everyone likes really strong mustard! These salami and cucumber topped bread slices go very well on a buffet table, between the seafood appetizers and other fancy appetizer recipes. They are easy to make and the meaty salami and delicate cucumber contrast perfectly.
