
This fondue recipe will only take 15 minutes to make and will serve about 5 servings. If you are having a large fondue party, do increase the ingredients. I’m sure your guests will never have enough of this yummy fondue dessert!
Chocolate peanut butter fondue Ingredients
- 11.5 ounce milk chocolate pieces
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon crunchy peanut butter
- Milk
- Assorted fresh fruit dippers (whole strawberries, star fruit slices, pear slices, banana slices, orange sections, apple slices)
- Angel food cake or pound cake cubes
- Marshmallows
Chocolate peanut butter fondue Preparation
- In a heavy small saucepan (or the top of a double boiler placed over gently simmering water), combine the chocolate pieces and the 1/4 cup of milk.
- Heat the combination, stirring constantly over a low heat until the chocolate is melted and becomes a smooth mixture.
- Stir in the peanut butter.
- Cook and stir until heated through.
- Stir in the additional milk 1 tablespoon at a time until it reaches the desired consistency.
- Pour the mixture into a fondue pot and place the fondue burner set on low fire.
- With fondue forks or skewers, dip the fruit dippers, cake cubes and marshmallows into the chocolate mixture.
- The fondue mixture will hold up to 1 hour on low fire.
- If the mixture gets too thick, stir in the milk 1 tablespoon at a time.
